pettite struggles against the twins

In last nights game against the twins the yanks took a loss 6-5 after pettite breaking their 5-5 tie in the 8th. The yankees had many chances to produce runs on the board but could not do so. This game was'nt a great performance by Andy but the yanks are looking ahead. Joba Chamberlain is now making his major league debut as a starting pitcher against the Toronto blue jays. It will be interesting now to see what joba could do with his four pitches.

Yanks take 2 from baltimore

The yanks winning two so far now put them in fourth place in the east. They are starting joba on tuesday and the team is definetly excited about that.

Jorge will possibly play sooner than expected.

In the secound game against the twins they went into extra innings winning in the top of the 12th inning. This lead them to feel confident going into the third game of the four game set. Unfortunetly the yanks came up short. The yanks now are 28-28, 7 games behind toronto
